On a first-come, first-serve basis, participants in Zero Energy Now can receive substantial incentives and tax credits, depending on the combination of improvements. All projects must be completed by December 31, 2022. The Zero Energy Now technical director and program administrators can review all of these with you, but the major ones include:
FIRST: Identify which Zero Energy Now approach is best for you – Modeled or Checklist
For projects using the Modeled Approach, up to $5,000 is available. For projects using the Checklist Approach, up to $3,000 is available (with an additional $500 available if water heating is also addressed).
Additional incentives include $3,000 for income-eligible customers (for up to ten customers) and up to $1,000 for a home electric car charger. Incentives are made possible through non-profit and private foundation support.
Funding is available via a first-come, first-serve approach for as long as funds are available.
